How accurate are your weather forecasts?

Our forecasts are sourced directly from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, which uses sophisticated weather modeling and data from multiple observation stations across Sydney. Short-term forecasts (1-2 days) are typically very accurate, while longer-range forecasts become less precise. We recommend checking back regularly for updates.

How often is the weather data updated?

Weather data is automatically updated daily, typically around 5:00 PM Sydney time when the Bureau of Meteorology issues its routine evening forecast. During severe weather events, updates may be more frequent.

Why does the temperature differ between suburbs?

Sydney has distinct microclimates due to its geography. Western suburbs like Penrith are further from the ocean's moderating influence and can be significantly hotter in summer. Coastal areas like Bondi benefit from sea breezes that keep temperatures cooler. Our town forecasts help you understand these variations.
